A657.

Will the CVG that I have for the EXP-1000 work with the DSS-5000 HD PAC?

No.

Will PACCAR accept warranty from my EXP-1000?

Only until 2/28/2018.

Why can’t I log in to BMIS?

Make sure that you run a battery test with your tool first and that it has
successfully connected to a Wi-Fi connection.

Does the tool provide warranty codes for individual batteries that are brought into the parts counter?

No. Warranty codes are provided only if 1 or 2 batteries are determined to be bad during the pack test.

How do I get warranty paid for batteries over the counter?

Parts warranty is claimed through PACCAR Parts. There is a different process depending on the battery manufacturer. This documentation can be found in the dealer portal or contact PACCAR Parts for warranty information.

What is the difference between a single pack and a dual pack?

Single pack is when there is 1 pack of batteries in 1 location. Dual pack is when there are two sets of batteries in 2 locations. Example of dual pack would be one pack of batteries on the driver side and one pack of batteries on the passenger side, typically 8 batteries total in this configuration.

My tester won’t connect to the Wi-Fi network.

Try setting it up through a hot spot. If that works, then there is an issue with the Wi-Fi network that you were trying to use. Make sure that your IT administrator allows the tool on the network.

I can’t set up BMIS.

Make sure that you purchased BMIS with your tool.
